The proximity to Avalon airport was convenient, yet the true gem was the access to nature. We explored the surroundings by hiking through the lush landscapes, immersing ourselves in the beauty of Australia's countryside. The staff's warm hospitality extended even to a midnight airport pick-up, easing our travel woes. A highlight was the sanctuary visit, where we marveled at kangaroos and wallabies in their natural habitat. The spacious rooms, clean amenities, and accommodating owner made our stay truly comfortable. Although a shade cover at the entrance would enhance outdoor lounging, the peaceful location near shops and attractions made Lara Lodge a perfect family-friendly retreat. Lara Lodge offers a welcoming haven for families seeking a nature-rich getaway in Victoria.
